1971 "Push Button" Pantera

My Son has owned this car since 1996.  It is a very
early and rare Pantera, known as a "push button"
because of the round button door handles.  These
cars were hand built and Just about every part on
this car is different than on later Panteras.
We pulled out the engine with the
transaxle attached.

The driver side

now fits perfectly.
This is the weak spot on
these cars....where the
roof meets the quarter
panel..... When the body
flexes, the paint tends to
crack here....

The original lead was
removed and new steel
welded in.
